It is Walk to School Week from the 15th-19th May. The week encourages children to walk to school, rather than getting a lift from parents or catching the bus.
Although walking to school can improve fitness and get people moving, there are also dangers, particularly when it comes to busy roads and pedestrian accidents.
We need to teach our children some basic tips and knowledge to ensure they know how to stay safe when near roads. Unfortunately, no matter how much we try to teach our children to be safe, accidents do still happen.
If your child has sadly been injured in a pedestrian accident, speak to one of our compassionate solicitors today. Call 0800 612 7340 for a free, no obligation consultation.
