Freeclaim personal injury solicitors recently organised a dress down day in order to raise money for St Ann’s Hospice, and to show support to a long standing staff member Sheila Kelly.

Sheila walked the St Ann’s Hospice Manchester Midnight Walk, a sponsored 10km walk around the city centre on 20th June, alongside her sister and daughter who were also helping to raise funds. Between the three of them they raised a fantastic grand total of £1,200. Sheila is also hoping to do the walk again next year.

More than 2,100 people took part to raise funds for St Ann’s Hospice and they are hoping to bring in over £200,000 to help meet the running costs of the charity which provides care for around 3,000 patients, their families and carers who are affected by cancer and non-cancer life limiting illnesses.

The total amount collected by staff from Freeclaim Solicitors and donated on the day came to £300. Thank you to all staff who participated and for digging deep to support such a worthy cause.
