E-Business Developer

Freeclaim Services Ltd and the University of Salford are seeking an ambitious individual to manage an exciting Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project. The aim of this challenging project is to develop and operationalise e-Law business services and revolutionise solicitor/client communications, thereby increasing market share, efficiencies, profitability and enhanced service delivery. Based at Freeclaim in Manchester, you will manage the project supported by the experienced staff from Freeclaim Services and this forward thinking University.

Freeclaim Services aim to innovate in the marketplace by developing a client focused "E-Law" business service. Excellent training and career progression for the right candidate.

As a KTP Associate you will have the opportunity to work at a strategic level within the organisation with the support of the Academic team from the University of Salford. In addition to this exciting opportunity, you will also be able to develop your skills and knowledge by completing management training modules and have a substantial budget for additional training and the potential for higher degree registration.

You should have a professional degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar technical discipline. You will be working in a commercial environment, where you will bring the project to completion in a commercially viable manner and it will require you to work in a multi-disciplinary team to tight deadlines. You must be proactive and self-motivated as you will also have responsibility for the successful delivery of the project which will develop you project management, time management and communication skills. Your accomplished team-player skills as well as your ability to work independently will also be thoroughly tested. Your knowledge of legal sector is not essential but could be a great advantage.
