Compensation Payment For Young Car Accident Victim

The parents of a teenager who suffered serious brain injury in a road accident have received an interim compensation payment of £250,000. However, the teenager's parents were trying to secure a larger interim payment so that they could care for her at home.
After suffering serious brain injuries in the horrific car crash, their daughter is currently being cared for in the brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit (BIRU) at Frenchay Hospital. Understandably, her parents went to court to try and secure a larger interim payment so that they can buy a specially adapted house for her needs.
They will now have to wait until the full compensation claim is settled. They are expected to receive over £1 million and annual amounts to cover care costs.
