Tom Offer has been awarded £25,000 in compensation after an accident at work left him with permanent nerve damage to his hand. The accident at work happened whilst he was dismantling a tractor for shipping purposes without the correct equipment.
He required a special hammer for the task, but despite his complaints, he was told to continue taking the tractor apart with a piece of metal. Despite wearing safety gloves, he sustained a nasty cut to his hand, severing the tendon, and has been left with nerve damage.
