John is Head of Department and a Director. He has devoted his career to obtaining compensation for those who have wrongfully suffered injuries. It is the devastating effects of injuries on people's lives and the lives of their families that constantly push John into fighting for justice for his clients. His name was bought into the media spotlight due to his involvement in class actions against solicitor firms who were formerly on the panels of Claims Direct and The Accident Group. John’s focus of practice is difficult liability cases including serious and less serious injuries and he further specialises in British Standards Cases - a specialist and complex legal area. Building on his success in Lips –v- Older [2005] PIQR P14, he successfully settled the case of Stephen Boyd who suffered a significant spinal injury after falling over a low stair banister in a public house. John is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Solicitors Regulation Authority Personal Injury Panel since 1997.
